When I was a baby, my mother always dressed me in blue because I was the only one in the family with blue eyes. People used to comment about what a sweet little “boy” I was because I was bald until the age of three.
When I ungracefully rolled into my awkward teen years, my mother still bought me only blue clothing. By that time, I fought it every step of the way.
Now that I am
old gracefully aging, I am drawn to the color blue. Although my eyes have taken on a greyer hue (probably the beginnings of cataracts), I am beckoned by the color blue in my wardrobe. Jealous Sista tells me it’s because I need all the help I can get.
So when I chose a color for the renovation of my master bath and bedroom – guess what color I chose?
When I was researching the perfect color blue on Pinterest, I came up with a few of the photos that I found that made my
old wrinkled eyes “with character” twinkle.
So soft and serene.
between naps on the porch
Wow… I would have such sweet dreams in this beautiful bed!
So soft and pretty.
I think my blog would be so much “cooler” if I wrote it in this room.

This is for my friend, Ann F. in CT who loves toile as much as I do. She even wraps gifts in “holy” toile!!!
William Yeoward’s Cotswold kitchen
I love everything about this kitchen.
Love the plates, too.
Love the “pop” of green with the classic blue and white.
Who needs Tylenol PM when you sleep in this beautiful room?
… and if you really love the colors of blue and white – hop over to The Enchanted Home and take a tour of Tina’s gorgeous home because as the song says … “nobody does it better.“
